El proceso de (des)institucionalización de la educación en derechos humanos en Brasil De la formación para la diversidad a la ascensión del bolsonarismo
Contenido principal del artículo
Resumen
This text presents the process of consolidating human rights education (HRE) and its recent de-institutionalization due to the elimination of the National Committee for Human Rights Education in Brazil. To achieve this, we have carried out a theoretical study and an analysis of historical data, documents, and specialized bibliography. We address the historical, political, and regulatory frameworks related to education in this field. Secondly, we present some of the premises upon which the Christian-conservative and neoliberal proposal of bolsonarism is founded. This proposal seeks to prohibit overarching themes around HRE. Based on this analysis, we have concluded that the de-institutionalization of HRE in Brazil has impaired the construction and dissemination of practices and policies geared towards affirming the concept of differences and diversity within various levels of education.
